This work is about contrast: alive and death, showing or not showing, present or not present. It’s about growing something in ourselves, but by doing so automatically letting something else go. Live is about choosing what to show to other people, what we do want to share and what we choose not to. We are constantly making decisions that affects everything in our lives. This work exposes the choices that I, as an artist, have made during the process of experimentation with that what is difficult to capture, with the things that I had to let go. The scary choices of working with living bodies the techniques and methods that I at first didn’t dare to try and the opinions I was scared to receive.
